Previous Litters

I consider every puppy, from every litter, to be special. My hope, and my ultimate goal, as a breeder is that all of my puppies will lead long, happy lives and be well loved members of their families. In the long run that all that really matters.

As a breeder, it is my responsibility to try to improve the breed with any breeding I do and have each generation be a little better than the last. Breeding with the goal to just maintain the status quo is simply not good enough.

Some of my puppies go on to win ribbons and add titles to their name, but many will never step into the show ring. While some may become well known to others in the breed or in their local communities, most are known only to those of us who love them. The time a dog spends in the show ring is fleeting, it is the time they spend snuggling on the couch as a cherished family member that creates memories that last a lifetime and keep them in our hearts forever.

Every single one of my puppies is special and as they make their mark in the world they make me proud, even if there are no ribbons or titles involved.

No matter where they go or what they do in life, or how old they are, they are always my puppies. And yes, I do remember them all -- how could I not?

To view the puppies from any previous Dufenhof litter, from the very first to the most recent, just click on the mother's name.

Litters come in all sizes - from one puppy to a dozen, and some owners are better about sharing photos than others, so the number of photos for each mother varies quite a bit.

More pictures will be added as I go along -- twenty-plus years of Swissies means LOTS of photos, so every time I open a box or a file I find more pictures. And of course I am always delighted when I open my mail and find more pictures of my favorite Swissies.
